MAG Field Service Representative in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) in Aberdeen, MD. The FSR will be performing boots on ground training and supervision for a multitude of C5ISR products through aggressive schedules.This requires coordination with internal working groups, system integrator and and gaining commands. The FSR will generate and coordinates taskers, ensure schedule completion dates, conduct equipment handover at unit home station and answers the requirements of multiple products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for fielding development and execution (i.e., fielding and product support coordination; manpower and personnel; supply support; support and test equipment; training and training materials and devices; technical data, property transfer, briefings and equipment handling, storage, transpiration and facilities for one or more acquisition programs.

  • Responsible for total, cradle to grave fielding management to support a complex, major weapon system from concept through field handover, training and deployment.

  • Performs the full range of planning, liaison, equipment delivery and property transfer. Oversight of equipment and classroom set-up, configuration, training and field exercises.

  • Requires the ability to integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a fielding management program.

  • Implements PEO/DA/DOD policy and procedures of acquisition to provide support of the program manager's requirement to field fully supportable systems/equipment and meeting operational requirements for the Soldier in the field.

  • Resolves complex logistics problems affecting numerous activities and units spread over large geographical areas.

  • Develops and initiates the implementation of corrective actions and programs enhancements.

  • Support includes the management and interface with gaining commands, system integrator, training and system support teams, field service representatives, logistics managers, contractors, training facilities, ILS management organizations and other service users at contractor facilities and government activities.

  • Develops, interprets and/or applies a wide range of DOD, Army, and PEO acquisition and logistics policies, directives and precedents.

  • Responsible for the preparation, delivery, coordination, evaluation and review of fielding management and planning documents. Develops and recommends new logistics support concepts.

  • Evaluates, plans and develops and assures the implementation of correct action and changes to reflect new requirements, technologies and safety concerns.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; thereby, including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements with respect to COVID-19, as well as any Government or customer site-specific requirements. Requirements typically include but are not limited to proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status, except in circumstances where a candidate is legally entitled to an accommodation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Excellent communication and written skills

  • 5-7 years of related experience

Clearance

  • TS/SCI clearance

Education

  • The minimum level of education required is: High School Diploma

Desired Requirements

  • Knowledge of DoD 5000 Acquisition Guidelines and policies

  • ITL management

  • Bachelors degree

Other Qualifications

  • Physical requirements for the job include the ability to stand, walk and lift up to 35 pounds.
