Job Description:

The Strategic Alignment Manager will work with the Field Vice Presidents (FVP) and leadership teams as a critical thought partner and critical advisor. The successful candidate will be a personable networker and attuned listener while working collaboratively to run bold priorities among customer groups. A strong background in project management and experience advising organizations and programs is preferred. This person will handle unique projects and initiatives, including support and logistics and execution of all field leadership team touchpoints and coordination of outreach across a wide array of internal and external partners.

This role will report to Field Vice President and have a dotted line to the National Chief of Staff. It will have administrative coordinators as direct reports. This role will support the Chicago Field Office. 

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with the leadership team to help define and develop the strategic vision and key priorities for the organization to drive alignment, awareness, understanding, and advocacy

  • Work with Operator Leadership Team, Build Trust and help communicate strategic vision

  • Lead agenda and logistics for leadership meetings, and participate as a thought partner

  • Reviews action items decided upon at each strategic meeting

  • Collaborate with internal communications support to align and streamline all functional communications strategies

  • Lead and coordinate leadership presentations (example: Leadership Team, Field Alignment Council)

  • Lead the planning and execution of all major events (e.g., Field Planning Sessions, QBRs, SLT Visits, Benchmarking Trips)

  • Set objectives and agendas for each major event, including desired outputs

  • Lead sequencing of Field Events to allow for feasible attendance by all major customers

Qualifications:

 

  • Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative, focused on results; ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects and, at times, within ambiguous and undefined circumstances

  • Proven track record to exercise good judgment, handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response

  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while being flexible, collaborative, and deadline-driven

  • Excellent communicator with ability to adapt & simplify messaging for various audiences & levels in the organization

  • Demonstrated ability with organizational change, including enterprise-level communication and partner engagement

  • Ability to build trust with the Franchisees in order to establish productive work relationships

  • Ability to travel within set geography (20%)
