DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Residential Services Worker, you will be responsible and accountable for designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and conducting residential programmatic services and activities for assigned residents within a specific living area or unit.  You will participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings by providing input regarding assessments or services provided, assisting in identifying priorities, recommending integrative approaches, and collaborating with other team members to ensure continuous active treatment for each individual. This position implements components of the Individual Support Plan (ISP) for assigned residents by ensuring completion of assessments and interdisciplinary reports, developing training plans and support procedures, conducting services, training Residential Services Aide (RSA) staff, and monitoring services delivered in order to maximize delivery of active treatment.  You will direct RSA staff by implementing management directives, procedures and practices, coordinating daily work assignments, observing work in progress, conducting living area discussions, and reviewing work performance with supervisory staff to enhance utilization and productivity of assigned staff.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Overtime: As needed Travel: As needed for trainings Shift work: No May change based on operational needs. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Five years of paid experience performing direct care and habilitative program services for individuals with a developmental disability; or

One year of paid experience performing direct care and habilitative program services for individuals with a developmental disability; and a bachelors degree; or A bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, psychology, social work, education, or nursing; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
