ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael’s is hiring a Contract Specialist to support a Department of Defense client. As the Contract Specialist, you interpret solicitation provisions and contract clauses for vendors and Government officials. You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your previous experience assisting the Contracting Officer with performing contract closeout functions for Firm Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursable contracts. Our core value of Teamwork will be paramount to this role as you will supporting the larger team in providing professional advice and recommendations to decision makers and approval authorities.
LOCATION
Fort Belvoir, VA (100% On-site)
WHO YOU ARE
Five years’ Contracting experience.
Expert knowledge of pre-award simplified acquisition procedures.
Expert knowledge of Standard Procurement System (SPS) PD2
Expert knowledge of FAR Part 13 procedures including simplified procedures for certain commercial items.
