Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting in Holyoke, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food service needs based upon medical direction, patient population and contract

• Plans and supervises the patient food assembly and service

• Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations

• Complies with regulatory Standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies

• Participates in facility-wide and department Performance Improvement Program and on

• Performance Improvement teams to improve processes and patient care

• Follows facility, department, and Company safety policies and procedures to include occurrence reporting

• Hires, directs, coaches, trains and develops patient service team members

• Ensures patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals

• Participates in/leads patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facitliy wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications:

• Certified Dietary Manager certificate required

• Minimum of three years of acute or long-term care experience preferred, depending upon formal degree or training

• Willingness to participate in patient/resident satisfaction programs/activities

• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable

• Registered Dietitian, Registered Diet Technician preferred

• ServSafe certified highly desirable
