Amazon Senior Program Manager - MENA , Selling Partner Trust & Compliance (SPTC) in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Description

The Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity's (TSI) vision is that bad actors cannot operate in our store while selling partners start and grow their business without fear of disruption, such that customers and selling partners across the globe trust us, and have confidence in the integrity of Amazon’s store. We value individual expression, respect different opinions, and work together to create a culture where each of us is able to contribute fully. Our unique backgrounds and perspectives strengthen our ability to achieve Amazon's mission of being Earth's most customer-centric company.

Do you want to be part of a fast pace and entrepreneurial team? Do you enjoy working in an unexplored space and build world leading solutions to tackle regional complexities?

If so, we are looking for a high-judgement Senior Program Manager to develop new ways to build trust with Sellers operating in emerging stores in the MENA and EU region.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving key stakeholder and leadership engagement to support emerging store-specific Seller trust efforts and representing the Selling Partner Trust (SPT) team in the MENA and EU region

  • Working with global product and program teams to understand current and future challenges faced by Sellers

  • Building a nuanced understanding of emerging store-specific differences in terms of Seller needs and behaviour as well as the specific economic and legislative/regulatory landscape

  • Identifying emerging store specific opportunities and developing current and new programs that contribute to the delivery of our local and WW goals

  • Driving the SPT strategy for Sellers in emerging stores in the MENA and EU region and owning the associated Seller roadmap

  • Creating experiments that allow us to move from ‘what is’ to ‘what can be’

The role will be fundamental to building our understanding of local Seller nuances and driving improvement to Seller experiences. It combines strategic thinking with hands-on planning and oversight, and requires excellent program management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

The ideal candidate is able to influence and gain buy-in from product, business, ops, legal and policy stakeholders while seamlessly delivering in an ambiguous environment. Problem-solving, cross-team coordination, program management, executive communication, and organizational skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Key job responsibilities

The role will be focused on self-sufficiently running strategic projects that aim at addressing reducing Seller friction and business disruptions related to enforcement and remediation processes for emerging stores in the MENA and EU region. You will be expected to lead multiple concurrent efforts from initial scoping to final implementation, ranging from quick turnaround pilots to complex long-term efforts. You will work in close collaboration with various WW product/program, BA, tech teams as well as Legal and cross-organizational stakeholders to identify incremental opportunities and create a regional improvement roadmap. You need to be able to operate autonomously, establish strong relationships with regional stakeholders, build a solid understanding of a variety of complex topics as well as be comfortable operating under a high level of ambiguity. As such, you need to have a strong ability to prioritize efforts and develop workarounds for potential blockers. You will act as an advocate for our Sellers, challenging the status quo and coming up with ideas on how to improve the Seller Experience while navigating internal priorities/constraints.
