Omnicell, Inc. Product Manager - Robotics & Automation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The Product Manager role will report to the Director of Product Management and leads ideation and execution for a critical product area of the overall Omnicell automation platform in the central pharmacy space. This is a US-based remote position.
Responsibilities
Develop and refine prioritized product needs based on insights from market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, business needs and collaboration with subject matter experts
Collaborate with your product peers to prioritize problems to solve, make trade-off decisions, and ultimately translate your priorities into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
Own the successful delivery of your roadmap and co-own the success of the overall products
Effectively identify and manage cross-team dependencies
Build effective relationships that matter with engineering, design, QA and a variety of cross-functional stakeholders
Develop communications material, value props and high-level strategic justification to help explain the why of your product both internally and externally
Develop relationships with customers and prospects, gather and understand customer feedback on existing products and products in development and conduct effective interviews to better understand the context, pressures, complete understanding of the problems they need to solve to deliver the right solution
Communicate the vision of the product, value proposition and release goals to the cross-functional team as part of the release planning process
Required Knowledge and Skills
Understands the industry, market, and product/service trends affecting the organization’s competitiveness
Keeps abreast of business, industry and market information that may reveal business opportunities
Works cooperatively with others to produce innovative solutions communicating effectively across different organization levels
Expert on feature and product
Use common tools to create, mockups, stories, and roadmaps
Finds way to measure and track customer satisfaction effectively throughout the product development
Recognizes the business concerns and perspectives of others
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Field (Engineering/Mathematics/Science)
2 - 5 years Product Management experience
1 – 2 years in warehouse automation systems
3+ years of working in complex software and hardware projects with multiple stakeholders, and aggressive schedules in real world environments.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years experience developing warehouse automation systems solutions
1 – 2 years building solutions for healthcare
Track record for managing complex technology product launches with aggressive schedules and scarce resources
MBA and Project Management Professional (PMP) desirable
Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics
Executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals
Customer facing experience in a technical role
Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to motivate and influence teams outside of your direct purview
Strong data analytical skills and proven experience developing and using tools to analyze large data sets to drive decisions
Experience in an operational/industrial environment, preferably within a automated Fulfillment Center
Proven problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Work Conditions
Regular travel (up to 25%)
Remote U.S. based role.
